Planning for the Future
The department is tasked with the preparation of the County Spatial Plan, urban renewal of Homa Bay town, and the facilitation of affordable housing projects in partnership with the national government.
Land Survey & Geo-Information
Mapping of county land, boundary dispute resolution, and digitization of land records.
Physical Planning
Development control and formulation of integrated urban development plans for all municipalities.
Housing & Municipalities
Affordable Housing
Facilitating the construction of 5,000+ units across the county to provide decent shelter.
Urban Management
Strengthening the capacity of Homa Bay, Oyugis, Kendu Bay, and Mbita Municipalities.
Land Titling
Collaborating with the Ministry of Lands to ensure legitimate land ownership for all residents.
