A Message of Commitment

I am deeply honoured and humbled by the solemn dignity of the office that the good people of Homa Bay County have entrusted to me. I assure you all that I shall uphold the highest traditions of this exalted position and will work for the principles that are sacred to our democratic values.

"The oath of office that I took enjoins me to uphold the Constitution of Kenya, and to devote myself to the service and wellbeing of the people of Homa Bay County. These responsibilities, I commit to discharge, to the best of my ability."

Our administration is committed to fairness and justice in the discharge of all county functions. We are investing in health, education, infrastructure, and the blue economy to create a Homa Bay that works for everyone — from Suba to Kasipul, from Ndhiwa to Rangwe.

Together, we are building a county that our children will be proud to inherit.

Development Agenda

Governor's Key Priorities

The six transformative pillars driving Homa Bay County's development strategy under the current administration.

Universal Healthcare

Upgrading county hospitals, constructing new health centres, recruiting healthcare workers, and expanding community health programmes to reach every ward.

Education & Skills Development

Building EYE centres, expanding bursary programs like Fins-to-Swim, and establishing vocational training centres to equip youth with market-ready skills.

Infrastructure & Roads

Constructing and upgrading county roads, improving urban markets, and building modern government facilities including the new county headquarters.

Blue Economy & Agriculture

Modernising fish landing sites, promoting aquaculture, supporting farmers with subsidised inputs, and building value-addition and agro-processing facilities.

Water & Sanitation

Expanding piped water networks, constructing boreholes, protecting springs and river catchments, and ensuring sustainable sanitation across all sub-counties.

Good Governance & Transparency

Strengthening public participation, digitising county services, establishing grievance mechanisms, and enhancing accountability in the use of public resources.
